Toad, a German Shorthaired Pointer, was roaming around outside near his Kuna house when he saw a snake, according to ilovemydogsomuch.

The snake grabbed him and bit the unlucky doggie 5 times.

“As I neared him, I noticed a snake scooting in the air, so I put my sweet baby between me and the snake.

And when I attempted to catch him, huge mistake, there were many reptiles,” his owner, Fritz, informed KTVB.

Toad’s owners hurried him to the war horse, but the poison had already taken effect, and he started to bleed from his mouth and epoxies.

The stagehands quickly inspected him and discovered that he had been bitten on both sides of his head and multiple times on his front left leg.

He swelled excessively, but the towerer administered an antidote. His proprietors were concerned that he would not survive, but he did.

As the brave warrior continues to recuperate, his owners are now warning other pet owners to be wary of rattlesnakes in their environs.

According to Idaho Fish and Game, the fashionable thing to do right now is to carry your kids on a tether when out strolling in the hills or deserts.

In order to have those poor creatures safe and secure, you have to be wary and keep an eye on them.
