However, for many unlucky puppies, summer spells terror and even death, as their irresponsible owners abandon them in excessively hot automobiles.
Every year, pets die prematurely as a result of being left in heated automobiles by careless owners.
It’s absolutely avoidable and heartbreaking, and it’s incredible that people are still putting their dogs’ lives in danger in this way.
Police in Clearwater had to save an overheated doggie that was heard whimpering for aid inside a closed automobile.
The cops were summoned after the Holiday Inn & Suites workers heard the unfortunate pooch screaming for its life.
They called the cops, who arrived on the scene and discovered the doggie trapped inside an excessively hot automobile.
The cops quickly shattered the vehicle window and rescued the unfortunate pooch.
They rehydrated the dog with water and assisted it to calm down by rubbing it with cool water.
Animal Shelter came around 15 minutes after the dog was saved, and when they checked the temperature of the car, it was 94,6 degrees, notwithstanding the fact that the vehicle had been left open.
The windows were up and all doors were shut when the dog was trapped in the car, and the authorities believe the temperature must have been at least 100 degrees at the time.
After abandoning the dog, the owners supposedly went to the beach.
They appear to have believed that their day in the sun was more significant than their unfortunate dog’s life.
There’s no denying that the cops rescued this poor puppy’s life.
Excessive heat is extremely harmful and destroys a large number of pets each year.
Leaving a dog in a locked car is animal cruelty and completely unacceptable.
According to a Facebook post by the police, the case has been “submitted to the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney general’s Office for investigation.”
It appears that the irresponsible owners will be penalized, and this precious little pooch will never have to go through anything like this again.
People have expressed their thanks to the policemen, their love and sympathy for the pooch, and their contempt for the negligent owners on social media.
